Serving customers since 2015

Rock Paper Scissors Salon started in a tiny 2 chair "closet" that we soon outgrew.  In August 2017 we were blessed to expand and move into a beautiful, historic building in Williamstown, KY that has been a salon for over 30 years.

Our team is comprised of the most dedicated, gifted, knowledgeable, hardworking, and fun loving people you could ever ask for.  With a combined experience of over 55 years, we dedicate ourselves to making your salon experience one of a lifetime.

Ashley Cochran

Owner/Stylist

As a life long citizen of Grant County it has been a a dream of mine to someday open a salon and make people feel beautiful.  Everyone has a role model and Margie Combs just so happens to be mine.  While working her magic she had fun, laughed with her clients, sang with her clients, and unfortunately shed tears with her clients.  I truly had no idea what a hairstylist was until I spent a year assisting her.

I attended Micheal's College of Hair Design.  Furthering my education and staying on top of trends is a love of mine.  Learning new techniques, and sampling new products, has became a favorite pastime.   I am blessed to be a mother of two Amazing little girls and married to my High School sweetheart.

Karen Button

Stylist

Hey y'all! I'm Karen, but my friends call me KB. We moved to Grant County over 20 years ago from Scott County, where I was born and raised. I've been married to David for 30 years and we have one son and two girls. The only things I wanted to be when I grew up was a momma and a Cosmetologist. Here I am, 29 years later still doing hair and loving every minute of it! Color is my favorite, but I love everything about the beauty industry. Cutting, waxing, makeup, and even nails.

I can honestly say what I love most about my career are my clients. I do my best to make them feel as beautiful on the inside as much as on the outside.

Meghan Kinman

Stylist

I am 26 years old and was raised on a farm in Grant County.  After completing Cosmetology School I attended Morehead State where I earned an Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology.  I have a twin sister, two younger sisters and a younger brother.  I am very close with my my entire family.

My hobbies include, horseback riding, bonfires, and spending time with my friends and family... and some would say working! Haha!

I have been a stylist for 5 years now, and have always been creative in that area.  I was always the one that all my friends would ask, "Meghan, will you do my hair?" So I decided to give hair school a shot.  Being able to express my creative side is the lesser of the reasons why I decided to pursue cosmetology.  I love making people feel good about themselves.  It's always my mission every single day  to make someone smile and feel beautiful.  I love the fact that I can be part in making someone's day brighter, because you never know if you're the only light they will see.

hi everyone, I’m Mason. I became a stylist in 2018. i have always had a special place in my heart for this industry, since being raised in a salon, watching my mother do hair for nearly 30 years. this is where my passion for beauty conspired. In my down time I enjoy trying new restaurants, animals, traveling, boating, riding side by sides and motorcycles. if you were to ask me my favorite style of music and fashion, all things country, rock and western.

i look forward to seeing new clients in the future and hope you’ll be visiting Rock Paper Scissors!
